Frequently asked questions

When is the Playbook published?

A provisional list is visible to members from 08:00 ET. The Official Playbook is frozen at 09:00 ET on every U.S. trading day, 30 minutes before the open. On weekends and market holidays there is no Playbook.

Why 09:00 and not later?

It gives you half an hour to mark levels and plan before the bell, and it comes after the 08:30 economic releases that often reshape the premarket.

Does the Playbook change during the day?

No. After 09:00 the plan is sealed and can't be edited. The only later additions are clearly labelled: the 09:29 final premarket levels and, after the close, the outcomes.

How many stocks are there?

Up to ten. On a quiet morning there may be fewer, or none. We don't pad the list.

What does a bullish or bearish bias mean?

It's the direction the premarket evidence points to, with the reasons shown. It isn't a buy or sell instruction, and it comes with no entry, exit or position size. Stocks without a clear direction aren't published.

Do you show the losing calls?

Yes. Every completed day is public with every call in its original order, and each is graded by the same published method. Browse the archive.

Are the outcomes trading results?

No. Standardised Outcomes measure how the price moved after a fixed reference point. They don't model fills, fees or slippage, and they aren't anyone's profits. See the method.

Where does the data come from?

Prices and volume come from the consolidated U.S. equities feed (SIP), which covers every exchange. Catalyst summaries are written in our own words from licensed news sources, with a link to the original.

How do the trial and billing work?

Your first 7 days cost $1. After that the subscription renews at $49/month until you cancel, which you can do anytime from your account. The trial is for new subscribers, once per person; if you come back after cancelling, the subscription restarts at $49/month. Prices exclude VAT. UK and EU customers pay VAT at their local rate, added at checkout. See the cancellation and refund policy.
